And no — a shop is not “just another page”.
Online selling introduces payment processing, customer data, stock control, product management, tax, shipping and order administration. It also brings additional privacy and GDPR responsibilities. Ecommerce is therefore a different class of project rather than a small add-on to a brochure website.
A shop also needs an identified person on the client side to manage products, pricing, stock, orders and customer data on an ongoing basis. Blade can build and support the website, but day-to-day ecommerce administration remains a client responsibility unless separately contracted.
