Gone but never forgotten
Peter, well what can you say ? often opinionated but would never turn his back on those needing help. We all have our own memories of the things he did or said.
He was well loved and respected within the community, and dedicated the latter years of his life to the residents of the peabody flats and surrounding areas, by assuming the role of the chairman of the residents association.
This website was set up to raise funds to purchase a memorial bench in his honour, it would be a fitting tribute to have a spot in the park between the corner of Ebury Street and Pimlico Road "Orange Square" to commemorate his life and his service to the community.
Donating a memorial bench to commemorate a loved one can be arranged in many of Westminsters parks, gardens and cemeteries. The standard charge for this service is 1,060 Pounds (including VAT) which provides for the supply and installation of a memorial bench, an inscribed dedication plaque and maintenance for a 10 year period. ( See Westminster council website )
Our aim is to raise sufficient funds to purchase a bench like this to honour the memory of Peter
